To some, sending letters and cards in the mail is their version of a hug.

A snail hug, if you will.

I am terrible at sending letters.

I am awful at sending Birthday cards.

I wish I was better at these things… but I just am not.

HOWEVER,

Once a year, about a week before Christmas, I sit down with

my actual address book, glitter pens, stickers

& carefully photographed/designed Christmas cards

and I personally address, stuff, stamp and send those bad boys

out to over 150 of our closest friends,

family and clients.

That is my salvation for the year of ‘misses’.  😉

Christmas and NY is a time of Family, celebrating and reflecting.

It is a time for giving…

It is a time of year to personally (not mass email-y) take 5 minutes

to put together something that your family member, friend, client

can actually hold onto.

It shows that you care….

I’ve noticed over the years that one who used to receive close to

100 cards, now only receives 50 or 60…  I can only guess that it is

because the sentimental value of the Christmas card has been lost

amongst the digital era…

Brighten up someone’s mailbox… Make their season brighter!

Don’t be digital with Christmas… be intentional.
